HILDEBRANDT – Henry Hildebrandt of Abbotsford, BC, was born to Jacob & Mary Hildebrandt on June 5, 1930, in Blumenhof, SK. He slipped away into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, after a nine moth battle with pancreatic cancer. Henry was a graduate of Caronport High School and Briercrest Bible Institute, Caronport, SK. He and his wife Lois served with Africa Inland Mission in Kenya and Uganda for 16 years. Much of his service involved mentoring pastors, maintenance and dorm parenting at Rift Valley Academy, and the building of two secondary schools in remote areas of Kenya. He leaves to mourn his wife, Lois; three children: Myrna, Dale and Doug; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. We sorrow not as those who have no hope. Henry is with the Lord whom he loved and served. Donations may be made to Africa Inland Mission. The memorial service took place Tuesday, July 19, 2011, in Abbotsford, BC.
