EMIL FIDDLER
Emil “Aime” Fiddler, age 87, of Saskatoon, SK and formerly of Prince Albert, SK passed away on Friday, September 25, 2009 at the St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. He was born on September 3, 1922 in Fish Creek, SK. Family and friends may attend a public visitation from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 1 from River Park Memorial Chapel. The late Mr. Fiddler is survived by his loving family: his two sons Rudy (Joyce) Fiddler and Brian Fiddler; his two daughters Jackie (Wally Cunningham) Lamirande and Dorothy (Marvin) Lavallee; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two sisters Theresa (Sden) Larson and Rose Marie Schneider; five brothers Tom, Wilfred, Ted, Alex and Clayton as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Daisy Fiddler; his parents Norman and Emilie (nee Parenteau) Fiddler; his sisters Irene Parenteau and Alvina Vandale, his brother Leo “Mac” and his sister-in-law Bertha Fiddler. Interment will take place in the South Hill Cemetery. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the charity of the donor’s choice.
