Stellarton: Eileen “ Elaine ”Murrell age 65 of Stellarton and formerly of Scotsburn passed away on Wednesday August 3rd,2011 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital.
Born in Pictou she was a daughter of the late Wm A.and Ethel (MacKenzie) MacKenzie.
Elaine was a seamstress for Wearwell Garments for 40 years.
She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church ,Scotsburn.
She is survived by her loving husband Gary
Sisters:Mary Alexa (Nelson) Anthony , Beverly (James) Garvin , Janet (Gary) Fraser all of Scotsburn
Nieces: Michelle (Brian) Reid of Ontario , Amanda (Kelly) McAloney of Pictou and Gayle Fraser of Ontario Nephew: Terry Garvin of Truro.
There will be no visitation or funeral by request .
A graveside service will be held in the Bethel Cemetery ,Scotsburn on Saturday August 6th at 2 P.M. with Rev. Lara Scholey officiating.
Donations in memory of Elaine may be made to the Bethel Cemetery fund or to a charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the H.C.MacQuarrie Funeral Home ,Stellarton.
