Kenneth Robert Brakefield
It is with great sadness that the family of Ken Brakefield announce his passing on August 2, 2011, after a courageous fight to beat his illness. Ken was born February 25, 1946, in Prince Albert, SK where he lived, worked, and cared for his family. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family, friends and all those who knew and loved him. Ken was predeceased by his wife of 39 years Diana; his mother Jennie; his father Ralph and his brother Harvey. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Roque Concepcion. Interment will be held at South Hill Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes those wishing to make a donation in his name are asked to do so to the Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
