Passed peacefully away on August 2, 2011, in her eighty second year. Predeceased by her loving husband Joseph Lear (2010), parents Lewis and Sarah Pearcey, brother Albert, and sister Marge. Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories, sons: Randy (Bonnie), Rodney (Ursula), and Rick (Sonia); father Gerry Flemming; brother: David Pearcey; grandchildren: David (Debbie), Danny, Angie, Steven, Travis, Renee, and Cameron; great-grandchildren: Jake, Justin, and Sarah; as well as a large number of family and special friends. A special thank you to the staff of Chancellor Park, who cared for her so lovingly. At Doris’ request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
