VIVIAN FRANCIS
We wish to convey our sincere appreciation to all who have expressed their sympathy for our loss. Thank you to those who visited our homes, brought food, phoned or e-mailed, sent sympathy cards, offered masses and enrollments, donated
to charities in our mother’s memory and to those who celebrated with us her Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church. A special thank you to Father J. J. MacDonald for celebrating the Mass and for capturing the essence of our mother in his homily, to Fathers Thomas John, Ajit Kerketta and Conrad Edwards for concelebrating, to Father Patrick O’Neil for his sacramental blessing and Father Peter McLeod for his prayers and visits during her illness. Thanks to Sharon Iannetti and the choir for their gift of beautiful music, to the CWL for hosting the luncheon after the funeral, to Connie MacDonald, Carol MacKay, Wilson Carey and Elizabeth MacNeil for their gifts of ministries, to Frances Gordon and Gerry MacGillivray for their assistance in planning the funeral, to Patrick Hall for preparing the Church and to David Blackie for preparing her burial site. Thank you to Norman Duncan, John Currie and Jeanne Francis for their reading of the Word, to her grandchildren and extended grandchildren for so graciously contributing as gift bearers, pallbearers and honorary pallbearers and to Rex for his gift of roses. We offer a sincere and heartfelt thanks to Marie Paule McKeough for her love and friendship to our mother for so many years, to Louise and Michel McKeough for their caring ways during her life, to her nieces Paula and Sandra for their visits to Mom and to the staff of 5 East and 4 West Northside General for the comfort given to her during her stay in hospital. Special thanks to David Harding for keeping her yard as only she would want. A sincere thanks is extended to Charlotte and Robert of Sydney Removal for taking our mother to the Funeral Home with dignity, to Darcy Rideout, Michelle Allen
and Mike Peters for their assistance with the beautiful programs, to Jim Young
for so respectfully preparing our mother for burial, to Kate Taylor-Young for conducting the Funeral in such a professional and caring way and to Stephen
MacMullin and Ken MacKenzie for so capably assisting her. We are truly humbled by the love and support of so many people. May God bless all of you.
Sincerely Kate Carney, Anne Lynne, Bob and Nacy
