O’NEILL, JEROME BENEDICT - 1941 - 2011 - Jerome O’Neill, 70, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday August 3, 2011. Born in Enfield, NS, he was the son of the late Harry and Marguerite (MacDonnell) O’Neill. Jerome will be sadly missed by his wife of 51 years, Colleen (Garden) O’Neill; sisters, Ethel Munro (David), Patricia Gilby and Geraldine Currie, all of Enfield, NS; Avis Logan (Floyd), Riverview, Peggy Langille, Bedford, NS, Joan Shewaga, London, ON; brother, James O’Neill, Enfield, NS; and by very special friend, Earl Stevens, Moncton. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Douglas and sister, Winnifred Currie in 2009.
By request, there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Saturday, August 6, 2011, 11:30 am, Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be held at St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Enfield, Nova Scotia at a later date.
