Passed suddenly but peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Thursday August 4th, 2011. Bridget Mary (Bridie) Power of Logy Bay in her 81st year. Predeceased by her daughter Sharon (Aug. 2010); her parents Pat and Jane Dyer; her brothers Patrick and Michael Dyer and sister Mary Lynch (William). Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 64 years Kevin; son Stephen (Debbie); daughters: Mary Sullivan, Jean Nash (Bert), Rosalie Ledwell (Pat); twelve grandchildren: Stephen Power, Tara Sullivan, Lori, Karen and Bertram (Sara) Nash, Keith Ledwell (Colleen), Mark Ledwell (Angela), Janet Hancock (Derrick), and two great-grandchildren Katherine Ledwell and Caden Hancock. Also leaving to mourn son-in-law Joe Sullivan; five sisters: Loretta Hickey (James), Nell Devereaux (Paddy deceased), Anne Kendall (Fred), Bill Dyer (Ruth), John Dyer (Linda), Agnes O’Brien (Jim), Madonna Bonia (Ray deceased); sisters-in law: Bernice Dyer, Rosella Dyer, Magdalene Powers (Bill deceased), Isabel Miller (Jim deceased), Perpetua Myers (Pat deceased); brother-in-law Charles Power (Mena); special lifelong friends Dorothy Boland (Sis) and Kay Fewer; her special four legged buddy Ben, all her nieces and nephews, and special nephew Johnny Lynch. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, August 8th, 2011 at 10 a.m. from St. Paul’s Church on Newfoundland Drive.
