Passed peacefully away early morning Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Beverley Dawn Schwartz, 68 years. A loving, devoted wife, mother and doting grandmother. Beverley, born in Verdun, QC moved to Newfoundland after she married John in 1970. She lived in Corner Brook, Gander and then St. John’s for the last 13 years of her life. Beverley will be fondly remembered by everyone she met for her kind heart and her giving ways. She lived her life always thinking of others and put her heart into everything she did. Predeceased by her parents: Fred and Margaret Spence of Verdun, Quebec. Left to mourn are her husband John; daughter Natasha Margaret (Mark) McGarrigle; son Peter John Samuel; grandson Finn McGarrigle; sister Myrna (Darwyn) Rees; brother Ron (Linda) Spence, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. At Beverley’s request the remains will be cremated. Visitation with the family will take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday, August 5th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, August 6th, 2011 from Caul's Chapel at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation or to the Dr. H.
