Marion Deuel
(1945 - 2023)

Passed away peacefully at her home in Dorval, on July 20th, 2023, at the age of 78, wife of the late John Lester Courtemanche daughter of late Douglas Deuel and Avril Withers, mother to the late Michael Courtemanche.
She is survived by her mother Avril Withers and son Douglas Courtemanche (Tammy Galvao), her granddaughter Aria, and other relatives and friends.
Especially proud of her late father’s contribution to the Canadian armed forces during WWII (rank of private – Royal Canadian Army Service Corps 1940-1945) and his roots in Philipsburg, Marion spent several years later in life exploring the surroundings and connecting with people from the community.
She will be layed to rest next to her father’s grave at the Philipsburg Protestant Cemetery. As per her wishes, no funeral service has been set.
