ELLISON, GEORGE W. - 1921 - 2011 - George W. Ellison, 89 of Royal Court, Riverview, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, August 5, 2011. He was born in Apohaqui, NB on November 10, 1921, the son of the late Sylvester and Matilda (Jones) Ellison. George was a former employee of N.B. Tel until retirement. He was a veteran of the Second World War. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked a good game of cards, reading, calling Bingo at Royal Court and visiting various members of his family. George will be sadly missed by his sister, Nina Baird, Halifax; sisters-law May Ellison, Riverview and Bessie Ellison, Truro and by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Lloyd, Heber and Victor and by sisters Bertha, Ruth and Dorothy.
