The death occurred suddenly as the result of a motorcycle accident in North Bedeque, P.E.I., on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, of George Thomas McPherson of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 26 years. George was born on Jan. 22, 1983, in Halifax, N.S. Beloved son of Georgina Fall (Alan MacKenzie) of Travellers Rest, and the late Tom McPherson. Also lovingly remembered by his girlfriend, Jackie Peters of Summerside, his stepbrothers and stepsister, Sam (Donna) McPherson, Brenda (John) Preston and Kevin McPherson, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in N.S. and P.E.I. Besides his father, George was predeceased by his infant brother and stepbrother, Davie McPherson. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Thursday, Oct. 1, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Crapaud. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening only, 6 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in George’s memory to the Funeral Expense Fund would be greatly appreciated.
