Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre, Rose Bailey, aged 80 years. Predeceased by her husband Richard in 1992; brothers: Gerald and Phonse; sister Mona Pearce. Leaving to mourn four sons: Robert, Richard, Don and Doug (Sandy); two daughters: Barbara Colbert (Dave) and Joan Whelan (Paul); ten precious grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers: Junior Halleran, Hilary Halleran, Robert Halleran (Theresa) and Bernard Halleran (Carmel); three sisters: Edna Halleran, Marion Milendy and Ruth Halleran; other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Very special thank you to the staff of 5 North-A at the Health Sciences Centre and thank you to Ken Wells for his support and caring. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
