July 17, 1970 – September 29, 2009. Passed peacefully away, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family, at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit, on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, Linda March of Green’s Harbour, aged 39 years. Linda is predeceased by her Dad Samuel Gilbert (1996), nephew: Andrew Jacob Gilbert, grandparents: William and Myrtis Legge, Newman and Emma Gilbert and father-in-law Gordon March. She leaves to mourn and celebrate her life with thanksgiving, her loving and devoted husband, Keith and their precious daughter, Amanda, loving mother Eva Gilbert (Bob Striha), and brother Scott (Renee), mother-in-law Marjorie March, brothers and sisters-in-law: Glenn (Darlene), Gerry (Rosalind), Craig (Karen) and sister-in-law Pam (Joe) Mercer. She is also lovingly remembered by six nieces and one nephew: Angie (Perry), Cortney, Matthew, Katie, Emma, Olivia and Sarah and a special friend Lisa Welsh (Mike), as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Faith United Church, Green’s Harbour, from Wednesday, September 30th - 10 am until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from Faith United Church, Green's Harbour on Thursday, October 1st at 2 pm. Cremation to follow. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully declined.
