Lawrence James Wentzell, 64, from Red Deer, Alta., and Terrace, B.C., passed away July 15, 2011. Born in Digby, Lawrence was the son of Mildred (Millie) and the late Llewellyn (Lou) Wentzell. Lornie lived in Terrace, B.C., for many years. The past few years, he lived in Red Deer, Alta. Besides his mother Millie, he is survived by his wife, Dennette; sons, James (Clarice) and Shaun, both from Red Deer; daughters, Tanya (Malcolm) Sokolik, Edmonton; Marjorie, Red Deer; grandchildren, Cheyenne and Dalan; sisters, Shirley (Skip) Vantassell, Leona (Bill) Willman, Sharon (Glen) Titus; Kathy (Cliff) Thompson, all of Digby; Brenda (John) George, Bridgewater; and many nieces and nephews.
