Passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care on Saturday, July 30th, 2011, Melinda Ann Felix of Grand Bank, age 52 years. Predeceased by parents: Captain Leo & Mary Prior; aunt Melinda(Clyde) Welsh. Leaving to mourn: husband Ray, sons Leo & Billy, sister Emily(Aubrey) Crews; brothers George(Hazel)Prior Charlie & Ivy,Neices,Keira,Paula,& Darlene.Nephews Brandon,Leo,Chris,Calvin,Owen,Tomas& Dylan. Uncle Calvin(Jean) Foote; Aunt Martha Douglas; 4 grandchildren.Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Major James Cooper from the Salvation Army, Grand Bank, at 2pm on Tuesday, August 2nd. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank. Music was provided by the Salvation Army Band. Pall Bearers were: Ivy Simms Clements, Charlie Prior, George Prior, Dave Warren, Clayton Welsh and Frank Smith. Donations in her memory may be made to the family.
