Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on July 30th Jane Martin of Burin age 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Alfreda Drake (Dominic); sons Harold (Shirley) of Burin, Percy of Cambridge, ON and Joshua (Leah) of Milford, NS; grandchildren Dominic, Joshlyn, Harold Jr., Evan, Jonathan, Jennifer, Nicole and Ryan; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Marg O'Neil (Lee) of St. Louis, Lillian Spencer of ON, Annie Wheeler (Harold) of Corner Brook; brothers Stuart Thornhill of Carbonear and John Thornhill (Eileen) of Burin plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by husband Joshua in 2002; parents Percy and Elizabeth Thornhill and sister Gertrude Brenton.
Rev. Robert Peddle officiated Funeral Service from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ship Cove 2PM Tuesday, August 2nd with interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hodder's Point.
Pall Bearers were Ryan Martin, Carl Brushett, Don Davis, Charles Martin, Howard Francis and Rodney Thornhill. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
