Christopher “Chris” Michael Sheppard passed away suddenly on Saturday July 30, 2011, at the age of 33 years. Chris is survived by the love of his life, his wife Kaylea and the center of his world, his daughters, Korri-Dawn and Gracee; his parents, Rupert and Patricia Sheppard; a sister, Ann-Marie (Albert) Clarke and their daughter Danielle; his brother Jamie (Crystal) and their sons Matthew and William; his in-law’s, Dan and Joyce Sawatzky; sister-in-law, Tara (Paul - Christopher’s best friend) Walters and their son Aiden; brother-in-law, Kelly (Tanya) Sawatzky and their sons Bayden and Trenyn; his grandmother Hettie Baker; a large circle of both family and friends in Alberta and Newfoundland. He was predeceased by his sister Ruby. Chris, you will forever be remembered in our hearts; your smile and humorous ways dearly missed. You will always be our hero and we will never forget your selfless act of courage. The funeral service was held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Blaine Schaufele officiating.
