Malcolm Cormier
CORMIER, MALCOLM - Malcolm Cormier of Haut du Ruisseau, Memramcook passed away on August 9, 2011 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Center at the age of 74. Born in Haut du Ruisseau, he was the son of the late Edmond and the late Bernadette (Doucet) Cormier. He worked as a bricklayer and a guard at the Provincial Jail in Dorchester until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Yolande (LeBlanc) Cormier, four daughters, Murielle Lucci of Dorchester, Francine (Joey) Surette of Haut du Ruisseau, Suzanne (Roy) Tower of Dieppe and Charline Cormier of College Bridge, three sons, Alexis (Angela) of Haut du Ruisseau, Edmond (France) of St-Sophie, Quebec and Jean (Helene) of Laval, Quebec, three sisters, Dorice (late Raymond) LeBlanc of Old Shediac Rd, Aline Gautreau of Dieppe and Marguerite (late Alfred) Ranson of Saint John, 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three brothers Rolando (Marcella) of Memramcook East, Leonce of Calgary and Romeo (Judy) of Haut du Ruisseau and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Aleisha (2005), one sister Bertha and by five brothers Yvon, Alyre, Gerald, Francis and Jean-Louis.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook church, St-Joseph on Friday, August 12 at 2:00 pm. Arrangements are in the care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. www.dupuisfuneralhome.ca
