A funeral service for the late Dwayne Pond, age 39, a resident of Edmonton and formerly of North Sydney, who passed away on Feb. 5, 2011, in Edmonton, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, North Sydney, with Rev. Carl Fraser officiating.
Dwayne was born in North Sydney, the son of Roy and Linda (Clark) Pond and loving companion to Brenda MacInnis and father to their two boys, Kyle and Zackary; brother to Sharon Cooke (Randy Townsend) and Angela (John) MacInnis.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
