BOLSTRIDGE, ANGUS "BUN" - Angus "Bun" Bolstridge of Perth-Andover passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital on August 9, 2011. Born in Tilley, NB, on August 7, 1935, he was the son of the late Angus and Mary (Gallagher) Bolstridge. Bun leaves behind his wife Vivian (Pirie) Bolstridge; his daughters Shelley O'Toole (Michael) of Campbellton, Kelly Bolstridge (Luc) of Fredericton; sisters Margaret McCarthy of Perth-Andover, Geneva Pirie (Frank) of Rowena, Anne MacKellar (Ken) of Rowena; brothers John Bolstridge (Rowena) of Carlingford, Stewart Bolstridge (Aileen) of Tilley, Roger Bolstridge (Carol) of Craig's Flat and several nieces and nephews. Bun was a barber in Perth-Andover for many years.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 11 am from St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Father Gilbert Doddatto will celebrate, assisted by Father Andy Mayer. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Southern Victoria Cancer Assistance Fund or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
