We, the family of the late John Norman ‘Geazer” MacInnis would like to express our sincere thanks or our family, friends, neighbors and co-workers for their support and words of comfort during the illness and passing of our beloved father John. To those who expressed their condolences by means of visits, telephone calls, brought food to our home, messages of sympathy, made memorial donations in Dad’s name, on-line condolences, prayers and sympathy cards/Mass cards. A special thank you to the medical team that cared for our father; family physician Dr. Gordon Spencer for his many years of great service caring for our father. To Dr. Fourousesh and nurses at the Cape Breton Regional Cancer Center, Dr. D’Intino and Heather Skinner at Palliative Care for their end of life care and guidance. Thank you to the V.O.N. for your special care and home visits. A special thank you to Jami Murphy who spent many countless nights with Dad and for your excellent care and guidance. Our father wanted to remain at home and this was possible with the support that was provided from you all. A heartfelt thanks to Kenny and staff at V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home for their support and kindness throughout this time. We would also like to thank Father Norman MacPhee for the service celebrating Dad’s Life. We will miss you Dad, but being surrounded by the people in our life will help us get through this difficult time.
Sadly missed and forever loved by daughters Natasha (Mark Brooks) and Jillian (Daniel Devison) MacInnis and new grandson John Daniel Devison.
