Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Thursday, August 11th, 2011, surrounded by family, at age 52. Predeceased by his parents Norman & Louise and brother Bill. Leaving to mourn five brothers: Norman, Ed (Brenda), Wayne (Denise), Paul and Mike (Cathy); six sisters: Patsy (Jack Bigeau), Josephine, Eileen Baker (Richard), Marg, Darlene and Brenda Fillier (Paul); good friend Jeff Mouland; seven nieces; six nephews; two great-nephews; and a large circle of other family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Saturday & Sunday, August 13th & 14th, from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. Funeral service from Barrett’s Chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
