February 21, 1920 - August 8, 2011. (Long standing member of the Iron Workers Local 40, New York). Passed peacefully away in Brooklyn, New York, surrounded by his loving wife and family on August 8, 2011. Predeceased by his daughter, Catherine Sullivan, parents Thomas & Cecilia. Left with fond and loving memories are his beloved wife of 66 years, Mary (nee Duggan); his sons: Tommy (Mona), Willie (Bertha), Paddy (Ellen) and Ray (Waltraud); 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a large circle of extended family and friends Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Friday from 2 - 4 p.m & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2011, at 10:30 a.m with Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Interment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Chapel`s Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to Holy Cross or Sts Peter & Paul Memorial or Restoration Fund.
