DURDLE, Reginald (Reg) - It is with great love and respect the Durdle family announce the passing of a very special father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, Reg Durdle on November 29, 2008 at the age of 79 years. Reg is now reunited with his loving wife Loretta (predeceased, October 1, 1994) and parents Thomas and Stella Durdle. Left with many cherished memories are daughter Mary (Dale Noseworthy), sons Bill (Alice), Wayne (Patsy), eight grandchildren, Billy, Jennifer, Alan, Amy, Patricia, Rosalita, Christopher, and Lorie, five great-grandchildren, Kayla, Christan, Christopher, Aliyah, A.J. and Connor. Sisters Phyllis (Ron) Ethridge, Kay (Tom) Hickey, Claudine. Brother Arch (Theresa) Durdle. Resting at Pendergast Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation Sunday 7 to 9 p.m., Monday 12 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s church. Interment to follow at R.C. Cemetery Bell Island.
