It is with great sadness that the family of the late John W. Rose announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday October 1, 2009 at the age of 70 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his special friend Margie Butt, daughters; Joanne Fillier (Darren) and Vicki Russell (Bruce), grandchildren; Kevin and Sarah Fillier and Jessica Russell, special family members Nicole and Bethany Butt, mother Lily, sister Elsie (Fred) Colbourne, brother Chesley (Jocelyn) Rose, sister-in-law Elsie Corcoran, Edna Corcoran (John) and Marian Strickland (Eugene) as well as a large number of relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Margaret, sister Bessie and father Chesley. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Michaels Anglican Church, Park Drive on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gordon Druggett officiating. Due to an allergy, no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one\'s choice.
