(October 1, 1934 – August 12, 2011). Passed away peacefully at her residence in Avondale after a brief encounter with cancer. She is reunited with her precious children Adrian, Harold and Debbie. Predeceased by her parents Bridget and Jack (John) Anthony, brothers Robert and Michael. Left to mourn her loss and celebrate her life after fifty-four years are her husband and true love Tom, sons Tom (Julia), Eugene (Sandra), Tony (Jackie), and Barry (Lynn); daughters Barbara, Sharon (Harold), Genny (Robert); beloved grandchildren Matthew, Jennifer (Gerry Ryan), Stewart, Sheri, Janice, Stephanie (William McLaren), Shane, Michael, Ryan, Emily, and Samantha Costello; great-grand children; Madison, Abigail and Emma, sister Rita (Ned Wall); special niece Kathleen; and great neighbours Ann and Terry Wade. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Monday, August 15th & Tuesday, August 16th from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 with Mass of Christian Burial from Assumption Church, Avondale. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery, Avondale. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Assumption Parish, or a charity of one’s choice.
