Peacefully, at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, of Reta Wilma Agnes Stevenson, formerly of Borden-Carleton in her 88th year. Born in Hunter River on May 18, 1922, daughter of the late Henry and Esmarelda (Hill) Bernard. Beloved Wife of the late A. Randolph Stevenson. Loving Mother of Marjorie E. Stevenson-Dawson (Wendell), Charlottetown, and Lewis Stevenson, Charlottetown. Precious Grandmother to Jennifer (Rev. Leslie) Barr, Andrea (Derrick) Barr, Charity (Jason) Muise, Jason Stevenson and Allison Stevenson. Stepgrandmother of John (Kim) Dawson and Neal (Jamie) Dawson. Great-grandmother of Jusslie, Lucas and Phoebe Barr, A.J. and Alexis Muise, Kacie Robinson, Kyle, Patrick, Rylie, Ethan and Sydney Dawson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Predeceased by brother Russell Bernard and (sisters-in-law Gladys and Dorothy) and sister Alice MacQuarrie (late William). Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Funeral Monday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
