GUIMOND, LAURA (née GALLANT) - 1929 - 2011 - SHEDIAC, NB - Laura Guimond 82, of Shediac (formerly of St. Louis de Kent) passed away peacefully La Villa Providence, Shediac on Monday, August 15th, 2011. Born in St. Anne de Kent, she was the daughter of the late Abbé and late Marie-Anne (Allain) Gallant. Laura will be sadly missed by her daughter, Georgette Sprague (Richard) of Havelock; two sons, Reno Guimond of St. Louis and Ronald Guimond of Moncton, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The last surviving member of her immediate family, Laura was predeceased by her husband; Fred Guimond, her daughter; Paulette Savoie and several sisters and brothers.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Sunday, August 21st, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 22nd, 2011 at 11:00 am at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
