The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011 of Henry Perry of Dalton Ave., Tignish aged 81 years. Beloved husband of Beatrice (nee Gaudet) Perry. He was born in Tignish on Dec. 1, 1929, son of the late Alphy and Henrietta (Arsenault) Perry. Besides his wife Beatrice, he is also survived by a son Reynald (Diane), Sept Iles, Que.; daughters Phyllis, Ginette (Jocelyn) of Montreal, Que. Loving grandfather to six grandchildren. Dear brother to Jeannette Gaudet, Tignish, Louise Gaudet, St. Edward and Yvonne (Eric) LeClair, Rustico. He was predeceased by his parents Alphy and Henrietta and a sister Dora. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Rd. for visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Wednesday at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. The Tignish Legion members and Ladies Auxiliary will hold a prayer service for their departed member on Tuesday evening at 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
