KEAN, Frances – Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on September 30, 2009, Frances Kean, age 79 years, of Pound Cove. Predeceased by her husband Alexander Kean, parents Thomas and Mary Parsons, son Bobby, brothers William, Percy, Jesse and Samuel, sisters Annie and Ethel. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her 3 sons David (Sherry) of Peawanuck, Northern Ontario; Clifford (Lisa) of Badger’s Quay; Robert (Jocelyn) of Waterloo, Ontario; sisters Minnie Norris of Ottawa, Sadia Parsons of Ottawa, Mary Kean of St. John’s; sister-in-law Levetia Parsons; grandchildren Elizabeth, Jessica, Alexander, Nicholas, Emily and Michael; great-grandchildren Austin, Aurora and Randolph; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Pound Cove on October 2 with Rev. Shaun O’Connor officiating. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Pound Cove.
