Passed peacefully away at the PCU at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre on Sunday, August 14, 2011, Felix Hanlon, aged 76 years of O’Donnell’s. Pre-deceased by his parents: Anslem and Mary Hanlon, his step-father, Patrick White, his brother & sisters. Left with fond and loving memories are his brothers and sisters: Myra Hickey (Michael), Vera Butland (Dermot), Kathleen Comerford, Leo (Sylvia), Jerry (Linda), Eddie, Mildred Tobin (Gordon), Ann Marie Murphy (Eugene), Carol Ann Collins, and a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends especially the staff and his close friends from Trepassey Retirement Home, where he resided for the past 25 years. Resting at St. Joseph’s Church, St. Mary’s Bay. Visitation on Monday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. & 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 with Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, O’Donnell’s. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Felix’s memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre.
