GRANT, BARRY - Barry Douglas Grant of Beaver Harbour, NB passed away, August 14, 2011, at home surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his wife Joanne; son Jordan and his wife Cheryl, Quispamsis, NB; and daughter Rebecca Grant, Beaver Harbour, NB; several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters. Barry was a faithful and loving husband and father. He was a man of simple pleasures, who accepted people as they were - never finding fault in them. Barry loved the outdoors, walking the beaches, tramping through the woods, listening and loving the sights and sounds of nature. Books, music, hockey and baseball were his great loves after his God and his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and tolerance. He will be deeply missed.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the St. George Baptist Church, St. George, NB. At the request of the family there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A reception will follow the service in the Church.
