WALSH, James Joseph – Passed peacefully away on Thursday, October 1, 2009, at the Health Sciences Centre, James Joseph Walsh, age 70 years. Mr. Walsh was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Terra Nova Council and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Mary Queen of Peace Council. Predeceased by brother Kevin and his wife, Mary; sisters: Elizabeth, Mary and Catherine and brother John (Jack). Leaving to mourn his loving wife Frances (nee Sparrow); and his beloved children: Erin, Garry, Kellie and Shannon (Trina) and lovingly awaited grandchild; sisters: Joan Holwell and Rose Kimmins; brother-in-law Joseph Sparrow (Peggy); sisters-in-law Joan Sparrow and Patricia Walsh; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Pius X Church on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation, the St. Pius X Food Bank or Mary Queen of Peace Parish Food Bank.
