Born in East Bideford on Jan. 5, 1922, daughter of the late Bayfield and Thelma (Hayden) Murphy. Cherished mother of Marie Parry, Ellerslie, Stewart (Gail), Pembroke, Ont., Tom (Karen), Port Hill, Judy Casey, East Bideford. Mother-in-law of Harold Millar, Port Hill, Andy Saurette, Oxford Mills, Ont., Loving grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Verna (Lester) Milligan, Poplar Grove. Predeceased by a daughter, Joan Millar, sons, Robert, Gary, son-in-law Robert Parry, sisters, Lillian, Enid, Evelyn, brothers, Edward and Carl. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Wednesday, 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Thursday at St. James Anglican Church, Port Hill at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.
