The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, August 16, 2011, of Constance "Connie" Stewart RN, of Summerside, aged 80 years.
Born in Charlottetown, she was the daughter of the late John and Janet (Scott) Cooke. Survived by her sons John (Barb) Stewart, Charlottetown; Robert (Connie) Stewart, Miramichi, N.B.; grandsons Steven (Kelly), Scott (Jill), Shawn (Leanne Mutch), Matthew (Jayme Simpson), Brian (Melissa) and Jason (Rachel Purdy); eight great-grandchildren; and by her cherished pet and companion "Hunny Bun". Predeceased by her husband Wendell Stewart and by her sister Helen Cooke.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. Interment in People's Cemetery, Summerside.
At Connie's personal request no visiting hours and no flowers. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
