COWARD, BARBARA JOAN - 1939 - 2011 - Barbara J. Coward (Gaynes) passed away at home on August 16, 2011. Born in Moncton on March 16, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Fred and Dorothy Gaynes. Survived by her loving husband Gerry of over 51 years, two children; Bradley and Brenda (Maillet), two grandchildren; Tabatha and Ashley as well as her three great grandchildren; Chloe, Kaylie and Sebastin. She will also be sadly missed by two siblings; Donald (Marilyn) McLean and Shirley Phillips (late Norman). Besides her parents Barb was predeceased by two siblings; Lawrence and James Gaynes. Prior to her retirement Barb was employed with Plant Adjustments for over 30 years. She was an active member of Tops # 2317 in Moncton. Barb loved animals and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed bingo and loved her computer. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family for her sense of humor as well as her kindness.
Friends will be received at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 10:00 to 10:50am followed by a memorial service in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home at 11:00 am. A reception will be held in the Garden View Reception Room immediately following the service. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. If desired, please consider donating to the SPCA Moncton.
