M. LYNN GRANT (McMILLAN - BELL)
September 29, 1944 - September 29, 2009

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our mom, Lynn. She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Steven) Flundra, Bobby Grant, Deb (Rick) Mellish & Gary (Tina) Grant; her Grandchildren, Justin (Reanna), Staci (Blayne), Sahra, David (Cheryl), Adam, Kaylen (Rachael), Devyn (Chelsey), Kayne, Heidi, Lyndsay, Taylor, Bradley, Kennedy, Ryden & Ella; her Great Grandchildren, Justin, Michaela, Madison, Masyn & Corbin. She also leaves to cherish her memory her sisters; Jean (Johnny) Faurholt, Rowna (Fred) Weys & brothers, Bernard (Georgia) & John (Claire), Sisters-in-law; Judy Hammond & Lou Calder as well as numerous neices, nephews, cousins & friends. Lynn was predeceased by her first love & soulmate, Bob Grant, both parents, John & Ina McMillan, brothers, Ken & Ted McMillan & Brother in-law, Donny Hammond.

Lynn was born and raised in Kamloops and later spent a number of years living in Monte Lake and Westwold. She retired from School District No. 73 as a Bus Driver in 2006, a chosen career she enjoyed. She had since made a full-time career as Grandma - a.k.a. ‘Day Care Granny’. She adored children and how they loved unconditionally. She was a huge fan of the Ball Game and spent countless hours on the field. She played, she coached, she cheered. She was our number one fan — it was her number one passion. She had a gift for welcoming all who crossed her path and accepting them into our family circle. She taught us all how to love and how to be loved. What a treasure!

We will continue our journey of life with the strength & courage you’ve instilled in each and every one of us. Your love and laughter will carry on!

We miss you truly, madly, deeply!

A celebration of Mom’s Life will be held Thursday, October 8th @ 2:00pm. Calvary Community Church 1205 Rogers Way, Kamloops, BC
