Passed peacefully away at Meadow Creek Retirement Home on Monday, July 25, 2011, formerly of Harbour Buffett, Placentia Bay, Rita Collett, aged 93 years. Predeceased by husband Thomas (1987), and son Thomas David (2005). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: son Kevin; daughter-in-law Iris; special niece Jean Slade (Baxter); grandchildren: David Jr., Mark, and Jonathan, and Paul, and Colleen (and their mother Barbara); great-grandchildren: Spencer, Camryn, Lauryn, and Jesse; very special friend Marion Forsey; as well as a wide circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Meadow Creek Retirement Home. By Rita's request, cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held from St. Mary's Anglican Chapel on Friday, August 19, 2011, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd.
