Passed peacefully away in her 82nd year in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A.M.C. Predeceased by parents Randell and Catherine Dodge, sister Pheobe Osmond, grandchildren Ann-Marie Dodge and Murray Kirby. Survived with fond and loving memories her husband, best friend and companion Jordan, her brother Earl Dodge (Ellen) of Grand Bank, N.L. and sister Sarah Matthews of North Sydney, N.S.; children Howard (Sharron), Roy (Suzanne), Randell, Melvin (Wanda), Marilyn (Mike Greene), Carl (Joanne), Sharon (Ron Kirby) and David; 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, October 5th, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, October 6th, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place from The Anglican Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue on Tuesday, October 6th, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
