Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, St. John’s on Saturday October 3, 2009 Bridget Mary Hynes (O’Brien), age 96 yrs of Ferryland (also of 91 Longs Hill, St. John’s). Predeceased by husband Edward (1980) and son John Will (2004). Leaving to mourn daughters: Sharon, Lydia (John Ryan) sons: Hughie (Anna), Reg (Mary) and Edward (Margaret), 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, one brother-in-law William Hynes, special family friends: Berkley Reynolds and Mona Barbour, and friends and staff of the 4th floor, St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, especially Sister Frances. Resting at Fahey’s Funeral Home, Fermeuse on Sunday and Monday, October 4th and 5th, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Tuesday, October 6th, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, October 6th at 2:30 p.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Ferryland.
