Passed peacefully away on August 18th, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Stephen Thomas Doran, age 67 years. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary (Kavanagh), sister Kathleen and brothers John (Frank) and Michael. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Jeanette; daughters: Linda (Rob) Renouf and Jackie (Lloyd) Slaney; grandchildren: Matthew, Emma, Ian and Lauren; siblings: Mary Voisey, Margaret (Joe) Mendes, Anna O’Brien, Bernadette Rickards, Dorothy (Gord) Samson, Mercedes Doran (friend Hazen), Gerard (Carol) and Joe, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thank you to the staff at the Cancer Clinic, Health Science Center and the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit. His family would like to acknowledge his dedication to his former employer the Department of Works, Services and Transportation, White Hill Depot. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Friday from 10 a.m. – 12 noon, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 20th, 2011 at 2 p.m. from St. Paul’s Church. Inurnment to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Outer Cove.
