We, the family of the late James Douglas Hill wish to express our heartfelt thanks to our many friends, relatives, neighbours and co-workers for their support and kindness shown to us at this diffcult time. To those who brought food to our home, called made donations in Dad's name, on-line condolences, prayers or sent sympathy cards, your kindness will never be forgotten. A special thank you to Betty Hill, who was our "rock" during this time and Kay Hill who kept Mom company. To Rev. Laura McCue for a beautiful service celebrating Dad's life and for putting a smile on our faces, to Muriel Deveaux for her reading. To pallbearers, Matthew, Kent, Jason Hill, Jonathan, James and Andrew Carey, Grampie would have been so proud. To granddaughter Denise for the beautiful tribute. To Jen MacPhail and girls for taking care of the luncheon. To Sheldon and staff of Chants Funeral Home, we will never forget the kindness and compassion shown to our family.
