It is with heartfelt sadness that the family announce the passing of Michael in Pincher Creek, Alta.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late John A. and Helen (Copeland) MacDonald and brother of Theresa (Dan) MacDonald.
Survived by his children, Jason, Jannelle, Jacalyn; five grandchildren; Judi, his best friend and companion.
Electrician by trade Michael started his career at the Devco shops from there he worked overseas, in Alberta and N.W.T.
A family service was held in Pincher Creek on July 29, 2011 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Deacon Thomas O’Toole officiating.
There will be visitation on Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 7-9 p.m. in Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. The interment will take place at a later date in St. Anne’s Cemetery.
