OLIVER, MARY LOUISE - The unexpected death of Mary Louise Oliver, wife of the late George W. Oliver, occurred on August 19, 2011. Born in Johnstown, PA. on April 29, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Mable (Jonah) and Delbert Burke. She is survived by her children Diana Fowler, Bill Oliver of Calgary AB., Linda (Francis) Dubé, Tom (Kathie) Oliver of Vancouver B.C., Sylvia (Don) Blanchard; grandchildren Shelley (Kevin), Scott (Patti), James, Heather (Troy), Deanna (Chuck), Dan (Rachel), Matthew, Adam, Jessie, Kendall, Rebecca, Michael, Jessica, Patrick; great grandchildren George Evan, Ella, William, Carley, Ethan, Carter, and Kegan. Mary will also be remembered by her brother Gerald Burke of Saint John, her sister Frieda Roberts of Harrigate, Tennessee, as well as many nieces nephews, extended family and friends. Mary was predeceased by her brothers Wallace, Calvin, and sister Ada Porter.
Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Sunday, August 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday August 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with the ladies auxiliary service at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. The interment will follow at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, and a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.
