NORRIS, Doris – Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, August 15, 2011, Doris Norris of Bay de Verde, age 92 years. Doris leaves behind many fond memories of a gentle, kind and caring person who loved her God, Jehovah and shared His love for people. She is already sadly missed by her sister, Myrtle Mate and husband Max; niece Esther Norris; grandnephew Eric and wife Patricia; great-grandnephew Philip and wife Megan; other nieces and nephews; special friends Iola Beckett and Vigrena Brookings; and a large number of friends who shared her faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, in particular at the Bay Roberts congregation. She is also fondly remembered by her friends at the Perlican Terrace Home in Old Perlican. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Bay Roberts, NL. Interment will be in Bay de Verde following the memorial service.
