The family of the late Robert Frank Chesal are deeply saddened to announce his passing. Rob died on Oct. 4, 2009, following a courageous battle with cancer with his loving wife Laura Scheller and son Scott at his bedside.
Born July 23, 1930, he was a son of the late John and Ina (Hamilton) Chesal of Scotchtown.

He was never happier than when he and Laura would travel the back roads of Cape Breton, picnic in Mira and his morning coffee club with his friends at Tim Hortons, where many world issues were solved over coffee.
