April 2, 1963 - September 30, 2009. Audrey Collins of Jamestown slipped away quietly, with her husband at her side, at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her father Harold Fry (2006), brothers Bob (2004) and George (2004), and sister-in-law Blossom Fry (2001). Leaving to mourn husband Jeff; son Shawn and daughter Megan; mother Violet Fry; brothers Walwyn (Mary), Ont.; Andrew, Charleston, N.L.; Gurshan, B.C.; Reginald, Alta.; Edgar, Alta.; Jeffrey (Trina), Alta.; Stephen, Alta.; sisters Marilyn Oldford (Bruce), Grand Falls-Windsor, N.L.; Margaret Nolan (Matthew), Sweet Bay, N.L.; Geraldine Abbott (Eugene), Lethbridge, Alta.; Sharon Janes (Eric), Southern Bay; Pauline, Charleston, N.L.; Jennifer (Sam), Ont.; sister-in-law Dana Fry; parents-in-law Ruth and Gerald Collins, St. John’s, N.L.; brother-in-law Douglas Collins (Carol Ann), St. John’s, N.L.; sisters-in-law Ruth Knee (Roger), Jamestown, N.L.; Debbie White (Randy), St. John’s, N.L.; also a large circle of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, other relatives and close friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Funeral service took place on Friday, October 2, 2009 from St. Thomas Anglican Church, Charleston with cremation to follow.
