LeBLANC, RAYMOND “BIG RAY” - Raymond LeBlanc, 64, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday August 21, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on October 15, 1946 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Clément and Mélendée (Melanson) LeBlanc. He is survived by his daughter, Tina, grandson, René Jr.; sisters and brothers: Bernie (Gisèle), Henry (Dianne), Claudette Thibodeau (Roger), Doris and George, his cat, Blue, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Emerie and two sisters: Patsy and Diane.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, Moncton, on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
