HEBERT, ANITA - 1917 - 2011 - Anita Hebert (94) passed away peacefully at the Georges-L. Dumont University Centre on Saturday, August 20, 2011. She was born in Moncton, daughter of the late Louis and Evangeline (Arsenault) Lirette. She will be greatly missed by her husband of almost 70 years, Albert (Bert) Hebert, her son Georges (Claudette) Hebert of Bedford, siblings Walter (late Victoria), Alice (late Victor), Henri (Cecile), Aurele (Adele) and Sister Therese all of Moncton. She also leaves grandchildren Daniel, Marc, Lisa, Christopher, and Paula, as well as great grandchildren James, Andrew, Tyler, Myles, Makayla, Sarah and Isabelle. Anita was predeceased by her son Charles (Jeannine) of Kitchener, sisters Florence, Jeanne (late Edouard), Florida (late Maurice), Yvonne (late Henri) and a brother Leo (Bertha). Anita lived most of her life on Emmerson Street. After staying home to take care of her family for many years, she worked at the Georges L. Dumont Hospital. She enjoyed singing in the choir at Christ the King Church for many years.
A funeral service will be held at Christ the King RC Church on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11:00 am followed by a reception at the Golden Age Club. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Nazareth House or to the charity of the donor's choice. The family would like to thank the workers at Manoir Notre Dame who were very kind to her and Bert.
